The main laws of the USGA are laid out in three documents: the Charter, the Constitution, and the Code. Each one builds on the next: starting with the most basic principles in the Charter, the foundational laws in the Constitution, and the legal details enunciated in the Code. Additional laws are supplied through Executive Orders.
